Spa Policies
Reservations
Our Spa receptionists are eager to assist you plan the details of your next Spa experience, including the best order of treatments. When making reservations, please notify us of any health concerns, including high blood pressure, allergies, physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. There are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, but many can be enjoyed.
For reservations or additional information, please contact us directly by calling 830.598.9210 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. or by emailing us at tharper@hsbresort.com. A credit card number is required when making reservations.
Age Restrictions
The Spa's fitness facilities are available to Members, guests of both Horseshoe Bay Resort and guest of the Texas Hill Country Marriott. The Spa is designed for guests 16 years of age or older. Salon services are available for all ages; individuals under the age of 16 must have parent/guardian release. Pool and recreational facilities are reserved for guests older than 16 years of age.
24-Hour Cancellation
There is a 24-hour cancellation notice requirement at the Spa. If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the Spa at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full service fee.
Arrivals
To enhance your next Spa experience, please arrive 30 minutes before your first scheduled treatment. This ensures that you get maximum enjoyment from your Spa experience and that other services begin on time.
Attire
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing; however, we encourage you to wear whatever is comfortable for you. Disposable underwear is available upon request. During all treatments, the body is fully draped except for the area being worked on. Plush terry-cloth robes and slippers are provided for both men and women.
Facials
Shaving is recommended, but not necessary, for men prior to a facial. If you choose to shave prior to your facial, please do so at least two hours before your appointment to avoid possible discomfort. Shaving is not recommended prior to body treatments or hair removal services.
Environment
At Bayside, we understand that your Spa experience is your time, and you should enjoy every moment. If you experience discomfort because of room temperature, massage pressure, music volume or any other conditions, please tell your therapist immediately.
Personal Belongings
Lockers are available for personal items; however, if you are a guest of the hotel, we recommend that you leave valuable items in your guest room. Cell phones and pagers should be turned off during your visit to the Spa.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are available for purchase.
Auto Gratuity
For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added to each Spa service received. Additional gratuities are at your discretion. All major credit cards are accepted. You may also charge Spa services to your Member account or hotel bill.
